lookbook love: Urban Outfitters' cardigans

A Urban Outfitters fez um mini catálogo para sua coleção de cardigans inspirado nos anos 40 e início dos anos 50. Com uma cara um pouco "pin up" e ao mesmo tempo com uma austeridade da época da Segunda Guerra Mundial, a estética final é deliciosa e o resultado é um catálogo que dá gosto de se ver.

Como os cardigans não são muito pesados e as combinações de peças são leves (saias, vestidos e blusas), essas fotos servem como ótima fonte de inspiração não só para o próximo inverno como também para aqueles dias mais friozinhos que pintam sem anúncio prévio no meio do verão. Já as maquiagens e os cabelos (reparem que são três diferentes) servem como inspiração desde sempre! Tô doida pra tentar o cabelo com os rolinhos contrastando com uma roupa bem atual... pra ver no que dá o resultado! Os looks são super clássicos e servem para inverno ou verão - em especial as maquiagens, que estão com essa cara de "não estou com maquiagem" e está tão em voga. Vale a pena tentar.

Urban Outfitters has done a mini-catalogue for their knitwear collection and the results are delightful. I love this "pin up meets WW2 austerity look" and their cardis and sweaters are very exiting as well! I'm very fond of this sort of look, so I'm kinda biased... but I found this catalogue to be very inspirational - both clothing and hair/make-up wise! True, it's very hard to pull off all of them together and not look like you're going to a costume party. But separating the clothing from the hair and make-up you can make the look very current. I'd love to see the hair and make-up combined with a simple leather shift, some ankle boots and minimal but colorful accessories. I'm sure it would look goooooood.

Ele é pequenininho, mas serve para inspiração. Como último mês oficial antes das coleções de outono/inverno chegarem às lojas, a Urban Outfitters aproveita o calor que assola o hemisfério Norte e lança uma mini-coleção de peças novas juntamente ao seu mega-sale de verão. Dá pra notar que algumas das peças são transicionais e já apontam para as tendências de inverno (como os acessórios e cores). Vale a pena dar uma olhada:

It's a tiny lookbook - consisting of only four female looks and four male ones - but it's worth for inspirational purposes. Urban Outfitters takes advantage of the heat wave that's been around the Northern Hemisphere and launches a capsule collection for July; some new pieces to be sold together with their massive summer sale. You can see some of the items are transitional and signal some of the new season trends (like the shoes and colours). It's worth having a look:
